VERY URGENT!!
Name: Quiche -- In danger of being euthanized !!!!!!!
Mix/Breed: Rottie/Shepherd Mix
Sex/Age/Weight: Female, 8-ish, overweight at 70lbs
Health: All shots except Rabies, which can be given before adoption.
History/Personality: Quiche is a lover girl who never missed a meal. She is very sweet and very friendly, likes everybody she meets. She doesn't mind other dogs either; she's just a care-free kinda girl. Quiche is at the Oakland Shelter and is in danger of being put to sleep because she is overweight and walks slowly. If she lost some weight, she would be the perfect dog and probably walk just fine. She is a little stiff when she first gets up but once she gets warmed up she does fine. The shelter has her marked for euthanize due to her older dog walk. Quiche would make a wonderful and loyal companion. She is a very mellow girl -- likes her walks, but also likes her naps. She is also very gentle and quiet, has good manners and is very easy to handle. Other than that bit of extra weight and a slow gait, Quiche is in excellent health. She has some good years left. All she needs is a good, safe home and a little less food. That isn't asking for much for a lot of love in return.

History/Personality Hogan came to us as a stray. He is COMPLETELY blind. His time here will be limited due to "room & his age." He simply is depressed and the concrete doesn't do his older bones any good at all. But this boy's heart is HUGE and he deserves a chance at retiring in a loving home. Hogan is SO sweet, walks well on a leash, and does learn his surroundings after bumping into a few things on his way. Charlie and Sonny -- Two gorgeous, purebred/papered, 8-year-old Yellow Labs, Charlie and Sonny are littermantes and have been together from the day they were born, so we are wanting a home that will take both. Never fear, they are extremely gentle, quiet, and loving. They are no trouble as two, and just want a place to rest and be loved. They LOVE children like nothing else, and are "pillows" for the grandbabies who come to visit. They are also playmates to all the young children in the neighborhood. These two are housebroken, have great manners, know their obedience, and give never ending affection to all they meet. Rescued last year the day they were to die at the shelter, they are now looking for another new home. Unfortunately, their family has lost their home, and Charlie and Sonny have nowhere to go. We hope there is someone out there looking for two beautiful Labs to save and a family to help. Their situation is very urgent.

History/Personality: Chloe and Bud are littermates; we even have baby pictures if you want to see them. They have always been together. Very sweet, gentle, loving personalities. They have been well cared for housedogs, and all their training is done, no hard puppy stuff anymore with these two. They will go to their crates when company comes if they feel overwhelmed. They are very easy keepers and not demanding. They have not been around lots of children, so an adult home or one with older, kind children is needed. All vet work is UTD and they are in need of a home by June 25th. This is urgent as their family is moving and will be in transition and it breaks her heart to have to let them go; but it is what's best for them. These two cannot go into a shelter; they would never be able to withstand the stress they would feel. They need a loving LIFETIME indoor home. PLEASE consider these two. We would like to keep them together, but if it means their demise due to not having one home, we will split them into two good homes.

History/Personality: Dee is a wonderful girl with a friendly, sweet disposition. She is looking for a new home because her family moved to a "no pet" apartment ....guess Dee wasn't a priority. Dee is a calm, loyal, trustworthy girl who loves long walks and will just sit by your side forever. She's housebroken, good with other dogs and children, although she hasn't had much exposure to very small children (< 5 years of age). Until recently Dee lived in a home with a family and a yard to call her own. She is now being boarded in a kennel and spends most of her time in a small cage. Under these circumstances, she's very depressed and confused. Dee is a loving, warm, dedicated girl who gives tremendous love unconditionally and will bring you happiness the moment you lay eyes on her.
