Placing an Ad on srdogs... |
||
| Advertising space on the srdogs.com site is reserved for rescue groups and shelters only. If you are an individual who is considering the surrender of your own dog, please see the special page we have created to help you keep or place your dog.
A note to rescue agencies and shelters: Before submitting your ad, please be sure that the dog's health and behavior have been evaluated and that you can recommend the dog for adoption without reservation. We can accept ads for no more than three dogs from any one agency or shelter at one time. Ad space is reserved for dogs of five years or older. If you have an "urgent" situation, you may E-mail us with a request for an ad; however, we cannot guarantee that it will be posted in time to be of help. Please be sure to review the special page we have created for rescue group and shelter workers. It has many suggestions for other methods of advertising and finding a new home for a dog. How to Submit an Ad: To submit your ad to srdogs, please send an E-mail to: ad @ srdogs.com (remove spaces in address before sending) Subject Section of message form (at the top of the form, just below the "To" line): Your City, State Abbreviation -- Dog's Name, Name of Your Rescue Group It's Best to Include a Photo: A photograph is a decisive factor in getting responses. Please send it as an attachment to your E-mail in jpeg format. A photo that shows the dog's head and facial expression always seems to get the most responses. Please DON'T send us more than one photo; it just slows us down. Select the one you think is the best, and send just that one. Copy the following format and paste it into your E-mail message form, substituting the information that applies to the dog you wish to advertise. Begin copying here: We recommend about 100 words for the "History/Personality" section.
If you wish to have information about your agency appear on the srdogs site, please follow these guidellines: Agency information (50 words or fewer): description of your agency's operations and objectives, website address, telephone, E-mail address. This information will form a "permanent" ad, which will continue to appear on our "Agencies" pages after the dog you have listed is adopted. End copying here.
