Name: Reno
Mix/Breed: German Shepherd
Sex/Age/Weight: Female, 6 years, 65 lbs.
Health: Up to date on shots.Heartworm negative. For additional health information, contact the agency listed below.
History/Personality: Reno is a very sweet, well behaved girl. She loves attention and walks. She is very active and loves to play. Reno came to us very neglected and abused. She is amazing because even with the past history she has a loving, forgiving nature. Reno would accept a male companion that is not alpha. She is not a good choice to be with cats as she has a high prey drive. She rides well in a car and would love a forever home where she would be loved and cared for. She would do well with children 5 and older.
Adoption Fee: $100

Wisconsin Adopt A Golden Retriever (Southeast Wisconsin) We routinely take in senior Golden Retrievers and Golden mixes. We are able to find forever homes for the majority of the seniors that we take in. If we can't find them a suitable home, we foster them until the end. A 501(c)(3) organization. One of the highlights of our site is our tribute to the seniors. We just love them!
Starr - #656 Starr is a beautiful 9-year-old female Golden who has been with WAAGR for a while so we could clear up a yeast infection. She also had surgery for entropian eye. She still has little outbreaks of itchiness from her allergies. Other than that, she is a sweetheart. Starr loves to snuggle, is very well behaved in the house, loves car rides and walks. She will always need to have a specific diet, no dairy, wheat or chicken. She is also a runner, so her forever home will need a fenced yard. She is not a counter surfer, does not beg at the table, is not much of a barker, and walks well on leash. She does not need much grooming as her coat is shorter that most Goldens. Her hair has all grown back in and her eyes are healed up now. She is just a wonderful loving dog! If you would like to find out more about this great senior golden, contact WAAGR today!
Kobie - #851 Kobie is a big, 9-year-old teddy bear looking for his forever home! He is a very laid back guy and and his foster dad said he doesn't act or look like a 9-year-old at all! He is very energetic and goes on long walks with his foster dad. He is very friendly and just wants to be petted all the time. He is just a very nice, well-behaved pet. Kobie was raised with young children and gets along well with kids. He was surrendered to WAAGR because the wife was in a bad car accident and the father was overwhelmed taking care of her, the three kids and the dogs. Kobie looks like a Golden but he has a little Newfoundland in him, having big paws and a big head! Kobie is neutered and updated on his shots. To find out more about this loveable guy, contact WAAGR.
