Canada -- Agencies and Dogs Available for Adoption

Name: Taz
Breed: Giant Schnauzer
Sex/Age/Weight: Male, 10 years, 82 lbs.
Health: Up to date on all shots, he has a hot spot on his back that he has picked at and it is being treated with medication. Otherwise he is healthy.
History/Personality: Taz is a beautiful cropped/docked, tall Giant Schnauzer. He was abandoned by his guardian when a split occured in the family and was tied up in the owner's brother's Car Garage for a few months before we heard about him. He is depressed by all of the changes in his life but is loving and so appreciative of any affection that he receives. Taz was raised with other dogs and is good with them but he's not very friendly with cats. He is good with older children but hasn't been exposed to many little ones throughout his life so it's recommended that he go to a household with older children only. Taz loves walks and following a friend anywhere, he is a typical "velcro" Giant and wants to be in proximity to a friendly person all the time. He walks well on lead, has had obedience training, is fully housebroken and is a mellow older gentleman.
Adoption Fee: A voluntary donation of $100 would be appreciated.
Agency/Location/Contact Info: Ontario Giant Schnauzer Rescue, Toronto, Ontario, Canada; email: robertturner@cogeco.ca

Ben is a very gentle dog and gets along well with other dogs. Ben is looking for a home to call his own.
